Budget-Friendly, Flavour-Full: Your Ultimate ₹100 Ramen Hack

Welcome to the first recipe in our Ramen Reinvented series – where we prove that comfort food doesn’t have to cost a fortune. At Gimi Michi, we believe a delicious, soul-satisfying meal can be quick, creative, and easy on the wallet.

In this guide, we’re showing you how to whip up a flavourful bowl of Gimi Michi Korean-style ramen using simple ingredients, all within a ₹100 budget. Perfect for students, busy professionals, or anyone looking to upgrade their instant noodles without upgrading their expenses.

From perfectly cooked noodles and broth to customisable toppings like eggs, paneer, or tofu – this recipe is designed to help you get the most flavour out of every bite. It's ramen, reimagined for real life.

Let’s get cooking – one slurp at a time.

Ingredients You'll Need

  • 1 pack of Gimi Michi ramen
  • 375 ml of water (precisely measured for that perfect brothy finish)
  • Optional protein topping:
    • Paneer (cubed & sautéed)
    • Tofu (soft or crispy)
    • Boiled or poached egg
  • Optional garnishes:
    • Sesame Seeds
    • Spring Onions
    • Kimchi on the side

Step-by-Step Cooking Instructions(with TIPS!)

1. Start with the Water

Pour 375 ml of water into a pot and bring it to a rolling boil. This exact amount ensures the ramen stays brothy but not watery – just right

2. Add the Noodles & Veggies

Once boiling, drop in the noodle cake and the dehydrated vegetable mix from the packet. Let it cook for 3–4 minutes on medium heat.

Chef's Tip: Don’t overcook! Slightly undercooked ramen gives that authentic chewy bite. And keep a little broth – it carries all the flavour.

3. Mix in the Seasonings

Once the noodles are nearly done, stir in both seasoning sachets. Taste and adjust — you can use half a packet if you want it milder or mix in a dash of lemon juice for brightness.

4. Serve & Customise

Transfer the hot and tasty ramen into a bowl. Keep some broth for a slurpy, cozy experience.

Now comes the fun part – customise your bowl!

Topping ideas:

  • A poached egg for that creamy yolk
  • Crispy paneer cubes for an Indian-Korean twist
  • Soft tofu if you're keeping it light
  • Sprinkle some toasted sesame seeds for aroma and crunch
  • Add a dash of chilli oil if you're feeling bold

Why Gimi Michi Ramen Tastes So Good

This ramen brand is inspired by authentic Korean street flavours: bold, spicy, umami-rich. It has the kind of depth that’s hard to believe came from a packet — but we’re not complaining!

Bonus: It’s vegetarian-friendly and highly customisable.
